Road to Riches
This program was created for the game
Elite:Dangerous to plot an
exploration route starting from any system within 1,000 light years from Sol.
Every system in the route is unpopulated and has at least one high-value planet: Earth-like world (ELW) or Terrafofmable Water world (TWW).
You can add populated (but unexplored) high-value systems to the route by checking the check box.
If present, Terraformable High Metal Content worlds (HMC) in those systems are also included.
For each planet, the distance from jump point is indicated in brackets.
The exploration data for these types of planets is valuable and can help a commander acquire some credits.
After firing the Discovery scanner, fly to planets listed in each system and map them. Turn in your exploration data at any station or outpost.
Clicking on the clipboard icon (
) in "
System" column will copy system's name to clipboard. Last copied system is marked red.
Clicking on text in "Visited" column will change its state (Yes/No) and save a cookie on your computer for persistence.
Every time you calculate the route from the same system and with the same "Max distance from start" is is going to be the same sequence, no matter how many systems you requested to be in it.
If you find any error in data or program functions, please don't hesitate to inform me by contacting me
on reddit or sending me an email (bonzo1962@hotmail.com).
The data used by this program comes from
eddb.io and might not be fully up to date.
The list of unpopulated high-value systems can be found
here (1.4MB).
The structure is mostly pretty clear. The following abbreviations were used: "sid" means system id (in eddb), "bid" means body id (in eddb), "dls" means distance in light seconds from jump point, "tp" means planet type, with the following possible values: 26=ELW, 30=HMC, 36=WW.
You can also download the list of populated high-value systems separately
here.
